  • Are the t-shirts printed in vinyl?

No, t-shirts are printed direct-to-garment using Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.

  • Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?

When you unpack your new shirt with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don’t fret, this is usually pretty common due to the fixation agent applied during the printing process, and it's not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.

Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and should go away once the t-shirt is washed.

  • What’s the care instruction for my t-shirt?

Our supplier utilizes the latest direct-to-garment printing technology to offer a vast array of garments and design color options that can be printed on. We use high-quality inks that will remain vibrant for an extended period if taken care of correctly.

However, keep in mind that standard manufacturer care instructions do not account for the DTG printing process. Therefore, we recommend following the care instructions provided on our website to properly maintain your printed garments.

Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.

DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print.

These guidelines will help prevent fading, cracking of the print, and shrinking of the garment that can result from high-temperature washing or drying.

  • What is the current stock level of each shirt design?

Shirts are only printed once an order for them has been received.
